Kohai Parents
Parents -- whole families -- play a pivotal role in sustaining the gains made at Kohai. We ensure that families are a part of what we do. Changes that we introduce are designed for families as well as for our students. These changes, with time, have had a lasting effect on how parents, other children in the family, and the community relate to our students. Less time dealing with behaviour, more independence, and greater skills all mean that there is more time and energy and emotion to devote to other members in the family, to career, to life -- and more to give to the child.
Our aim is to strengthen the child, strengthen the family, and enable each of our students to be a part of the community. We offer a regular and detailed reporting system to parents.
We also meet when parents have questions, request help, or when we need to work together as a team to solve problems at hand.
